Yeah he's still a fantastic player. If they get the Allan of a couple of years ago they are getting nearer to sorting out their terrible midfielder.

Cash to Villa £14m base with £2m of add ons. Pricey, but a good player. I'd have been interested

I liked what I saw of him against Baggies but if he’s 24 and Villa are able to get him (not even mid table clubs interested) then you’d expect that he’s not good enough for us.

Expect that puts Villa as a back 5 for next year again.

He'll improve them as I wasn't convinced with Guilbert down their right hand side.

I'm hoping that the lack of links of Cash to Wolves, even speculative ones after Doherty was sold means that we've got solid prospects of a replacement coming in from elsewhere before long.

we really need to strengthen now, all other clubs around us are doing it..fingers crossed

Villa close to Callum Wilson for £20m too apparently, decent for them if they can keep him fit

Newcastle heavily linked with him as well. Wonder if he will want a pa y rise as he only earns around 100k at Bournemouth

Doucoure fee agreed for Everton. Their wage bill was 80% of turnover before this splurge and they are in planning for a £500m stadium. Their finances are going to be a bombscare.

They made something like a £120m loss not long ago as well. God knows how they avoid FFP issues. Lukaku is about the only decent fee they've had for a player in ages.

Put it this way. They need Europe. Every season. But of course that large loss is going to hurt with UEFA FFP. They just seem to assume that Usmanov is going to be a huge bail out figure but his fake new stadium sponsor deal already did that.

I really don’t understand how Everton manage this endless high wage spending. Wish the athletic or Maguire would do an article on it, with some real analysis

They've got so so so much crap. An insane amount of players and loads of them have a massive negative value relative to what they originally paid.

Balagué going all in on Suarez to Juve.

A fabulous strikeforce on FIFA 15 but I'm not sure about actual real life in 2020/21.

Free innit. Juve can't resist, every single season. The complaints will start soon about them being lumbered with oldies on outrageous salaries.

The pressing from the front is going to be spectacular.

Hmmm. So Barcelona have found another money tree and will waste Griezmann and Coutinho for another season. Not sure this was a sensible decision. I can only assume that Koeman will last about five matches in the role after the fallout from this affair .

On the positive front Albion are spending their money getting the band back together and a Wigan centre half
