Come on Paddy I could if I wanted to and it's more than 50% of the 13 players who start regularly

I know there is an influence. Of course there is. But we do look elsewhere too. This Arsenal move looks like throwing all their eggs in that particular basket. It’s a really odd thing for them to do.

Jesus Christ pad :icon_lol

Having a go at a team for forging a 'close relationship' with a super-agent? Can't see any good coming from it, never works.

Brighton knock back £22m for Ben White, but Leeds are confident of getting him so presumably he wants the move. Can't blame him, I would.

Liverpool signing the Olympiakos left back

I'd rather sign Aarons personally.

Aarons is mainly a RB isn't he? I'd rather buy a specialist LB/LWB.

Unless Nuno wants someone who could potentially switch back to replace Doc once Jonny is fit again. Though I have my doubts as to how much an upgrade Aarons would be on Doc.

I think Jonny's injury will definitely affect our search for a CM. Donk and Saiss can both play there so it isn't an absolute must buy position. We can get along with those two as cover for another season as Donk showed recently alongside Neves. Not to mention MGW if necessary.

It could be that we have to pay decent money for both a LB and Striker now (Raul cover), which limits what we can spend on other positions in one window.

I think Aarons is a lot better than Lewis, so in the long run I'd rather have him, he can play on the left if needed there. Means we have at least 3 in wing back positions, so it just depends how much Nuno is prepared to rely on Vinagre (personally, I hope he gives him a good run)

I still think Vinagre will get his chance until January, probably with Doc/Saiss as backup and Traore backup to RWB if Doc has to move sides. Which I really don't like but is a possibility if necessary. Then if Nuno really isn't happy with Vinagre he can get someone in January.

That is unless someone is available for a nice cheap price.

Well he will have had the remaining game(s), pre season (if there is one) and likely 6 or 7 league and cup games at the start of next season before the window closes in October.

So he has plenty of chance to stake him claim and then the club can make the decision to trust him or get someone else in for the left side.

Jamal Lewis is rubbish, which is why he’s behind Byram for a spot in the Norwich side. Nowhere near good enough for us.

Parejo and Coquelin to Villareal for £8m combined. Valencia are a complete sham.

Is there anything we could take advantage of as they seem a mess right now?

Southampton announce Salisu signing. Think they will be top half next season, Hassenhutl gradually putting together a decent team.

They should be comfortably top half, I actually think they’ll be our biggest challenge for 7th as things stand

naah, not that high..could be top 10 though..like their manager

I think you could be right on that, guess Ings continuing to perform will be key for them, and Adams chipping in more often
