The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Wonder if Johnny's mood will be full of joys now? Or will he & Machin start a "we ain't gettin no sleep" thread...

Good news fella.

Hey ye of little faith. Despite a rocky start yesterday we got back on track by the afternoon and enjoyed 8 hours solid sleep again last night.

BTW ask that question in front of the good lady & she'll give you what for...

Wishing you and yours hearty congratulations, Johnny :)

Cheers again to you all, it is our first. Mrs Johnny also said thankyou even though she thinks I'm addicted to this forum (and especially PTG, wasn't too chuffed with me bidding for Yoan Gouffran just hours after she'd given birth).

Congratulations to you and your good lady Johnny. It's always wonderful to hear happy news. xx

Congratulations Johnny. Watching my boys being born was the best feeling in the world.

Casually clicking on a Beyonce song as I am flicking through YouTube and dramatically mouthing to it whilst the missus can't see me doing so

Yeah, I went there

Get to go to St George's Park for a one day course in May, looking forward to seeing what it's like.

Agreeing a deal on the sale of my house the day before plans were revealed showing the new HS2 route would run within 300 yards of it.

That's a smart bit of luck Sniffer!

Is that 'agreeing a deal' or 'exchanging contracts'?

As in could they, once they realise the error of their ways, renage, back out, turn it down, change their minds?

Agreeing a deal.

We are part exchanging for a new build so I'm hopeful that the building company will have enough profit in the deal not to back out.

If your new one is anywhere near the nearest station, you'll be seriously quids in!

I just used the word 'spasmodic' in an email to all staff, which I'm pretty happy about!

No, but it was written about me when I was at Stafford College and has stuck with me ever since.
