One of my 3 year old walked into the bedroom today and said 'are team wolves playing today dad? I said yes, but we can't watch them as they are in Scotland. He said 'oh', looked sad and wandered off.

5 minutes later he's back and dressed in his full wolves kit and says 'even if we can't watch them I can still wear the kit!'

My work here is done I think, 5 generation indoctrination complete

Awwwww, sounds like you have done a wonderful job. That made me smile because I say something similar to that most Saturdays . Mr Penguin will say " Do you really have to wear that Wolves shirt around the shops ? " I say " Absolutely, I may not be able to be there in person but I can at least wear the colours "

My weekend attire mainly consists of something always Wolves related! (I am infact wearing last seasons top for which the loverly Mike sent over at the end of last season!)

It is pwopa scorchio here now. Looking at the small clouds and seeing we are past 4pm the chances of a storm are minute so it should be a great evening at the grill.

Paddy, if you were cooking a Salmon ( wrapped in foil ) on the bbq, what would you put inside the foil ,besides the fish ?

I'd keep it quite simple.

Seasoning and slice up some lemon put on top on the fish and squeeze some juice in there too.

Think you are right Stan. Was going to put some Dill in there , but it might over power it a bit .

Absolutely! I had crumpets with butter and Marmite on for my lunch.

Oh and for the record, people who go and stand out in scorching 30 degree heat next to a red hot barbecue are clearly mental.

Had to debate which thread to use for this. As I don't do well in extreme heat (today it's over 30c in the West Country & any work outside is done between 7.30am & 10.30am) I have been looking through my old photo albums whilst listening to the Test Match & now some good music.

Some sad photo's of people who are no longer here (Mum & Dad with me when I was very little, my Nephew who died at 5, a lovely Gran who fitted the archetypal description of a grandmother + other characters too numerous to mention), but finally decided that I am happy & grateful that these

people have been a part of my life.

Apologies if this comes over a bit maudlin & could equally have gone onto the thread 'Things that make you sad', but have decided that knowing them makes me happy
