The main issue here is we have looked at the numbers and gone yep 4 is enough.

I think 5 (Mosquera, Dawson, Toti, Bueno and Meupiyou) is enough but you have to have the required quality and 2 aren't and 1 we have no idea as he's only played 9 minutes of senior football.

It's not even lack of spending per se this time around. It's where they chose to. Whichever side you fall on the Johnstone/Sa debate the overwhelming concensus is the difference between them is marginal. Andre looks a good player, but he wasn't really in a position of need and any upgrade he is over Lemina is lost by GON insisting on picking him at the expense of naturally more creative players higher up the pitch. A quality centre half would have served us better in an either / or scenario
