The Rugby Thread

Hopefully at half time they can discuss getting in the AllBlacks faces a bit quicker second half ?

Cut down on the box kicks a bit, too predictable and we need more territory.

Get Itoje on, AWJ and Kruis are far too similar. We need more aggression, pace and tackling in the second row.

Top class rugby again, missed chance again...

We have no hard runners, except for maybe Itoje and sinckler. Should have had stander on the bench and should never have taken te'o off for sexton. The sexton, warburton and AWJ obsession needs to end.

Agreed we didn't win the collisions, thats why we had to keep box kicking, never made yards in tight areas whilst NZ did that all the time.

NZ just slightly faster, stronger, cleverer, skillful and clinical
apart from that nothing to worry about..................

Davies, Williams and Teo were good - Kruis and Farrell poor.

Would bring in Itoje and Lawes for Kruis and AWJ, maybe Sexton for Farrell - Sinckler pushing for a start.

The AB's handling skills and ball retention from 1-23 are incredible.

Nobody was poor IMO, but there were individual errors.

Kruis runs the lineout and Farrell runs the backs, of which you pointed out three who played well, which they can't do without the ball.

Ball possession was the difference, and that came from the breakdown which the ABs won easily. We need more physicality from the back row to combat Kane (7) and Reid (8).

If they didn't know what to expect before, they certainly do now, and the Lions will have to up their game and take their chances when they come.
Barring injuries, I don't think there will be many changes for next week.

We massively miss big Billy. Don't think there is any player who can do what he does for the lions.

Totally agree. Such a shame he has missed out on a first Lions tour, as he would have been just what they need now.
