The R.I.P. Thread

Something came on my Facebook feed about Stephen Hawkins sense of humour, was along the lines of,
He was being interviewed at home for news night or something, the crew are there fussing about, they unplug something to put the lights on,an alarm goes off, hawking slumps forward, they panic,go and get help, when they come back in,hawking is chuckling away, apparently he had a machine that looked important, but didn't do anything, apart from set an alarm off if it was unplugged, one of his favourite jokes to pull said the family.

Used to run down the students with his wheelchair as well and run over your foot with it if you displeased him - for someone with that amount of intellect he had a sense of life about him whatever physical issues he had

SH On fame:
"The downside of my celebrity is that I cannot go anywhere in the world without being recognised. It is not enough for me to wear dark sunglasses and a wig. The wheelchair gives me away"

The single best thing Jim Bowen ever did were the out-takes of his performance on Phoenix Nights. Bloody hilarious and Peter Kay was in bits.
Result. Found it!

I watched the first half then gave up ???

Another one you'd forgotten about or thought had died years ago,the Eurovision Song Contest host in the 70s Katie Boyle has died aged 91

Remember him playing down here for QPR at the start of 1996/97, he was nearly 40 years old. Still the best player on the park.

Eric Bristow. Only 60, a decisive character but certainly a character.

Wow. Im surprised he was only 74 tbh. He looked around that when he was in Full Metal Jacket and that was over 30 years ago.

R Lee Ermey, aged 74.

His performance in Full Metal Jacket was astonishing - there's been nothing quite like it when it comes to portraying a drill instructor (which he was when he was in the US marines).

Legendary Aussie sports commentator Darrell Eastlake, aged 75.

Swedish DJ Avicii has died at the age of 28.
