Good effort, the fact we made the semi is a miracle.

However a few baffling decisions for me, taking Sterling off for one and then Alli and Lingard playing the whole 120 minutes when both offered nothing after half time, Alli in particular.

It was there to be won, thats the annoying thing. That Croatia defence was rickety and slow, but, sterling apart, we didn't go at them.

We have a young inexperienced team who will have learned lessons. Very disappointing, but if anyone had said we were still in with a chance of making the final with 15 minutes to go in the semi final at the start of the tournament they would have been sectioned without delay.

Oh well, just not quite good enough in the end but been a great run from the boys, I've enjoyed nearly every minute of our campaign, hopefully this young team can get even better, we can nit pick about certain performances and decisions......but we got to extra time in tbe semi final of the world cup
