That's a really harsh penalty IMO.

If Ben Davies' wasn't apenalty yesterday then how can that be? It wasn't deliberate and he has to have his arm up to jump.
 
Given the Croatian fans behaviour I am ecstatic over that equaliser!
 
The Croat team should be allowed to continue, but no Croat "supporters" should be allowed into stadiums.

Feel for the Croatians. They've done nothing wrong; looked as bemused and offended as anyone else.

He's got his arm miles above his head and more or less punched it away. Stonewall penalty.
 
Well didn't see that coming, not sure how the Croatians have thrown that away.
 
The support of their 'fans' didn't help
 
No way should the Czech's have got back into that - & WTF were the Croatian fans on. Appeared to be fighting amongst themselves when they were winning!

Not for me. His arms are where you'd expect for jumping and up against the shoulder of the attacker. Every has their arms up that high when they jump. It only hits his hand too, he doesn't punch it.
 
Commentators here mentioned that Croatians have a reputation for purposefully sabotaging their own team?? What the fuck is that all about?
 
Could be bad news for England that.

- Spain beat Turkey later
- Spain beat Croatia 2-0
- Czechs beat Turkey 2-0

Would put Croatia into 3rd place and we could have to face them in the last 16.

Croatian fan on reddit explaining why some of their fans try to sabotage the team and deliberately provoke other Croatian supporters:

"It's a long story but they think that the whole Croatian FA is dominated by corrupted as fuck Zdravko Mamic (just google him), the managing director of Dinamo Zagreb. He's supposedly controlling the national team as well now, and they are literally using terrorist methods because they think that if they cause enough international outrage something will have to be done."
