The Official Euro 2016 Megathread

Milik being added to the list of forwards who cannot score

Ozil shot tipped over - a save that should be made, but isn't always

This game is so poor, just a little thing i have noticed why doesn't Boateng go forward for corners, he hangs around about 40 yards out.

Lovely challenge there from the ex-Wolf.

Ukraine the first team to be knocked out.

It changed the moment Rooney seemed to tell Kane to fuck off and get in the box, and after his first 3free licks, the people in row z I am sure were relieved

Sterling is like flotsam, Kane was like flotsam, Roy saved his job and england with the sub's.
We have a very good side, but a total cunt as a manager.

Fuck safety first, go get the fuckers.

Loew likes to have his pace at the back to cover possible counters.

Working for a recruitment agency during an event like the Euro's is hilarious. The number of people who haven't gone to work today...

One bloke went home feeling "unwell" at 1pm yesterday and then called in "sick" today. I mean, come on... do you think we were born yesterday?! Hope you enjoyed the beers, San.

Used to be a lad I worked with at IKEA for a while who was the same whenever there was midweek football on and he was down for a late shift, some of his excuses were fantastic.

Can remember him phoning in at about 10am once saying he wouldn't be able to make his 6.30pm shift because his mom had gone to work and he was locked out, so in 8 and a half hours it would've been impossible for him to get to some spare keys and get his uniform.

People are funny things. I've heard it all - one guy a couple of years ago had three grandads pass away in the space of a week!

To be fair, a lot of our clients have made arrangements so that the shifts work around the various nationalities and whenever their respective team is playing. Yesterday (and subsequently today) was always going to be a bit of a challenge but it's not been as bad as I was expecting to be fair.

That lad wasn't against playing the family illness card either, his dad had quite a serious health condition which frequently put him in hospital and provided a great excuse, apart from the fact that the lad hadn't seen his dad since he was about 5 years old! At one point he claimed he'd been doing some work on a building site somewhere too and had to cancel a shift because he needed to stay behind and wait for some concrete to set, think he even went as far as making himself sick in the warehouse once when his imagination had failed to provide him with an adequate excuse early enough.

That boy really loved his Champions League football! No idea why though, think he was a Villa fan.

Back in the day (I was in my early 30's) I was employed by an oil company in Heath Town and got called into my boss' office to be asked for the reason "you have every other Monday off".

I told him because I was getting too pissed on the Sunday..... I was offered help and warned at the same time.
