I think Wales seriously need to look at Bale's role in the team, he's done virtually nothing in open play in either game, it isn't clear whether he's supposed to be playing wide, as a number 10 or as a forward. I have little faith in Coleman working that out as he is a really poor manager.
 
To be fair paddy didn't rub our noses in it on the rugby thread after our rugby World Cup defeat.
 
Not that much to be fair. Anyway with any luck we'll meet in the semis and we can do it again.

I do think though that Bale was a nob and certainly didn't help his team.

I'd agree didn't need to do it.
 
I honestly wish he had kept it quiet. But to be fair England shouldn't have needed their team talk written.

We should hopefully both still qualify. Slightly concerned about Russia but they were toilet against Slovakia so fingers crossed.
 
Oh and one other thing.

All those who wish to denigrate the English travelling support for other shit need to re-watch that game. The atmosphere from both sets of fans was absolutely incredible.
 
Wales looked much better than Russia, that said they really need to look to how they set up. Ramsey was excellent, but looked as though he were playing on his own in the England half sometimes.

Ideally we both win the next match. I'd love Wales to get through just not above England.

Definitely, more adventure needed, would be very dangerous to play for a point. Robson-Kanu just isn't a real threat and as I say Bale is in all the wrong areas with no support, I think Vokes has to play.
 
I think Vokes up top and Bale slightly behind him might work. Got to get Bale and Ramsey dovetailing because they seemed like they were miles apart today. And that meant the ball didn't stick up top and then you have a siege that really was only ever going to have one result unless we were INCREDIBLY fortunate. Sure it smarts that we got so close to what would have been a huge point for us, but you can't grouch about the result at all.

Why not Bale up top with Ramsey just behind him? Bale seems to have a touch of the Ronaldo's and not be that keen on tracking back so may as well play there properly.
