The Official Euro 2016 Megathread

I think Portugal will beat Hungary and we'll face them next Monday which in itself isn't a worrying fixture.
 
It's a terrifying prospect in terms of the endless puns and amusing headlines we'll see everywhere.
 
The press are painting a very picture this morning anyone would have thought we were out.
 
ITV commentary is painful at the best of times, let alone Glenn and Clive going into meltdown.
 
The only way Portugal can come 2nd is if both games are drawn and there draw is a higher scoring draw than Icelands I think.
If both games end 1-1 Iceland would come 2nd on goals scored.
Or Iceland beat Austria by a higher margin.
 
Am I correct in saying that if Northern Ireland lose, Spain beat Croatia and the Czech Republic beat Turkey then Wales play Croatia?
 
By all accounts pundits on French TV have said that France playing England in the Q/F wouldn't be a problem. Bit presumptuous both teams need to get there first.
 
Does the ball not have to move forward at the kick off any more? The Irish lad was on his own in the centre circle and just kicked it backwards to the midfielder...
 
Nope. Rule changed at the end of last season
 
New rules state it doesn't hence only one player at kick off.

Poland could have been 2 or 3 up in the first 5 mins but Ukraine have settled into it now.
 
Some good early saves by McGovern in the NI game.
 
Germany could also be three up. Bad finishing and excellent goalkeeping denying them.
 
Germans should be 3 up, good saves from the keeper but woeful finishing.
