Mike - Which pub do you go in round Wembley to watch the games after? We might join you for a couple.

Sorry Bear, just saw this. We have shot off for train from Kings Cross at 1930.
Next game we're on the later train so will grab a beer then. We go into an Indian restaurant called Moore Spice just outside Wembley if you want to meet then

Cheers Mike.

I switched to 3 mobile provider recently and I couldn't get any signal inside the stadium at all. Utter shite. As soon as I walked outside I could get 4G again.

In amusing news on the walk down Wembley Way to get to the tube station, some bloke had tried to climb over the railings at the side and speared his own arm on one of the spikes. They had to get the ambulance down there to get him off. What a prat!

As far as the game goes it was pretty poor quality other than Chris Ivory. The two QBs were awful.

Fitzpatrick has games where he looks good and others where he looks shit.

Generally I like him tho as he's the first Ivy League-er in ages to have any lasting career in the pros.

When he ran with the ball he was brave, didn't look for the easy get out and made really goo yards...When he threw he looked like a poor mans Jay Cutler! ;)

Why when the QB is calling for the snap does the centre not snap it resulting in a delay of game?

Usually, the centre reacts on a particular number/ instruction and the QB can look to entice the defence offside by seemingly calling for the snap. Getting the timing wrong is just a cook up.

Yeah I thought that's how it normally works. Just in the Texans Falcons game, the QB looked like he was genuinely getting frustrated asking for the snap, clapping and shouting Etc and then the play clock ended and he was more pissed off.

Would imagine the QB called it one way (ie, "on 3") in the huddle and either the center misheard the call or it was audibled on the fly and the message didn't get across.

Can be made difficult away from home, especially if you're implementing a so called "silent count".

What a play from Chancellor at the end of the game to save the victory for the Seahawks last night.

Started watching it on Sky on a Sunday night, I haven't got a clue what's going on but it's great fun.

First lesson Trevor, Sam Bradford is a fucking shocking Quarterback. Andy Daltonesque

Quarter back, No 7?, the Philadelphia No 7 quarter back? seems to be doing pretty well.

Yes, 2 red zone picks in the first half is awful as has been his performances so far this season.

Oh, ok, he must be a bit like Dave Edwards, ie: those who know fuck all about the game (me) thinks he's playing alright. :icon_wink:

Drew Brees is making him look like Peyton Manning tonight (Peyton is very good Trev)

Yeah I was gonna say, if that Bradford bloke is poor then his opposite, Brees, is having a right mare.

Falcons grinding one out, Freeman carrying the team. Need to stop a Redskins FG in 50 seconds for the win
