Pats fined a million bucks and they lose another draft pick.
Fairly heavy punishment.

I don't like the fact that it wasn't an independent report.
The solicitor that drew it up was a major client of the NFL. So it'd be a bit skewed right?
However, it seems they've got all sorts of visual evidence like the two guys taking the balls into the gents cubicle for 20 minutes etc...
So, yeah, it all probably happend but those punishments are hefty especially when based on only 'probability'..

How long was this going on for though?
Toon RIP...would be all over this like a cheap suit!

Are pre season games worth attending or do they have the intensity of an English football pre-season game? I'm in Philadelphia in August when the Eagles are playing the Colts, I'm thinking of going, but would appreciate anyone's insight as to whether it will be worth it.

It depends which one it is. You tend to see the starters getting snaps and running plays but only for a set amount of time. I don't think you can beat going to a game on American soil and Philadelphia fans are nuts. I think it's worth going just for the tailgate parties in the parking lot.

Agree with Johnny. If you are going to be in Philly then I would definitely go. It's a fun day out, especially the tailgate parties. Sunshine, beer, ribs and stuff cooked on the back of trucks and SUV's, banter, and the perfect end to the day, to see Philly lose to the Colts :)

On a different note, I will miss reading Toon's posts on this thread :)

Thanks guys, I got my dates mixed up, they have the Ravens when I'm there. Tickets are pretty cheap on StubHub, so I'm going to get 4 for all the family

What's happened to Toon Wolf then? I must have missed it.

Something happened in the Election threads. He called Tory voters stupid, some got upset and called him stupid or something. He decided he wanted his account deleted and left.

Probably took to calling them "Cheatservatives"

Went to the pre season Eagles vs Ravens game on Saturday. Mark Sanchez was getting booed even in pre season. I know he's shit, but jeez. Eagles look like they have a chance this year if they keep Bradford and Murray fit 17-0 when it was first team vs first team.

Shows you should ignore pre season no matter what sport. Bradford has put in one of the most insipid QB performances you could wish to see today and the O line spineless

I notice Jordy Nelson has done his cruciate and will be out for the season. Big loss for the Packers.

The Panthers were going to be crap even if he was healthy, they'll be awful now.
