The NFL Thread

If he hadn't switched hands and tried to reach out then I'd agree, but he compromised his position by shakily switching hands and then ball freed itself when it hit the turf. Classic incomplete pass.

Seen this on Twitter, does it make sense?

@UKNFL: Here’s my take: the refs have said his stretch is part of completing the catch. If so, it’s incomplete. But the stretch was going for TD and if the stretch is going for a TD after he’s caught it, it’s not an incompletion. It’s not a bad rule, it’s a bad decision.

It does make sense but it wasn't a stretch IMO.

It's a bollocks decision. 2 or 3 steps before he goes to ground. Utter bollocks.

The stretch was both.

@DeanBlandino

Bryant going to the ground. By rule he must hold onto it throughout entire process of contacting the ground. He didn't so it is incomplete.

Shit rule. The completion was over, what came after was going for the TD.

Really ought to be the same judgment as a TD - ball under control and two feet in bounds = completed pass.

Shite performance from John Fox and Peyton Manning. Can't believe it but the Colts are through.

Well that was tough. I hate the Packers but I REALLY hate the Cowboys. Now on to supporting whoever the other team is in the NFC Championship game!

Managed to get my accumulater up this week, paid a touch over 13/2

Green Bay have been excellent, Seahawks have been fairly terrible aside from the fake field goal TD which was pretty awesome.

What a stupid game!! Seahawks now favourites.

It's hilarious watching these big guys do basic things like catching a ball. It's ridiculous how they can't do it. Almost as amusing as watching props at club standard rugby.

Another game decided by coin toss. Shite rule.

Crazy game...packers really should have won but fair play to seahawks

They should change the rules so the losing team can have one drive at least

Absolutely stunning finish. Penny for Bostick's thoughts? He literally dropped the NFC championship. Seattle are just too good when they turn it on, even when they wait until the end of the 4th quarter to start playing
