Guess I'm skipping the Super Bowl this year...

Just to confirm the two tables for the final just-for-fun games.

Punts
Bear
Darlo

-------------

Johnny
James
Tony

Winner of each to battle it out for the TWF-Bowl.

If James does a H2H league next season then we could probably do a proper Playoff/Superbowl next year.
Darlo v Tony it is then.

Not an ideal format I know but it at least adds a bit of interest.

Bollocks. Looked at DK just and thought it was looking good but I end up with TT winning my group.

I feel like Sean Payton this morning :(

Brady is superb. I'm bored of seeing the Patriots in the SuperBowl but you have to admire how he does this almost every year. They've not even looked as good as previous years this season but come the play offs you know what you're going to get. Hoping for a Rams win in 2 weeks though.

I think Dean they are massively helped by the fact the AFC is and has been poor for a few seasons

Well last night the Chiefs were the favourites and with home field advantage. The fact is the Patriots and Brady rise to the occasion in big games more often than not. You look down the Patriots 53 man roster and the names on there are not that special at all, which makes it all the more impressive.

I think their Division rather than Conference is a massive help, but even in seasons where they have no right to get to the Superbowl they still end up there, you have to have admiration for that even if it's grudging

This for me. Belichik is just a very good coach who gets the very best out of players who would otherwise be ordinary (bar Brady who is obviously very good). Even now the Gronk's abilities are clearly on the wane he still manages to get the best out of him.

I really can't stand Brady, he's a pious twat.

Yeah, the AFC East has been a bumbling mess of incompetence for 15 years. Not one team in that division has come close to challenging the Patriots with any level of consistency. Its mind boggling.

Bellichik is amazing at morphing his team into whatever they need to be to beat what's in front of them. He's surely the best coach in NFL history.

How he changes the offense to suit the players he has is coaching at its finest. They've thrown it deep, they've used 2 TEs, they've dinked and dunked you to death with Welker and Edelman, and they've utilised pass catching RBS and battering rams like Blount. Their offense changes year on year and never misses a beat. Its frightening and sickening.

Even when they recruited a RB as a first, which received wisdom says you don't do unless they are at the elite Barkley/Elliott level he ends up being a perfect fit.

Been really impressed with Michel, hard to tackle and bring down, compliments White.

Me too, I think he's a lot better than most give him credit for. He's not an elite talent but suits NE well.

I'd have liked to have seen the Vikings come over again, having said that I will enjoy watching a neutral game. It got messy when the Vikes came over as we were playing drinking games with the American lads that came over and I felt absolutely terrible on the day of the game.

Really looking forward to seeing The Bears play

One of the games I went to (the Pats were playing someone), I got so wasted I still can't remember the game. What a waste of a ninety quid ticket!

Yeah, as good as the night was (as it was an exclusive Vikings bar for the night) I definitely suffered the next day and it kind of ruined the experience of the game for me a little. Lesson learned.

Cannot wait for this. Really really REALLY hope the Rams do it but I can see Brady pulling another beast performance out of the bag.

Either way it should be a classic
