How embarrassing is it that my first thought for #10 was Jimi Hendrix?

I guess his career wasn't exactly long, was it?
 
A Demi Lovato poster has been banned by the advertising standards agency for being offensive to Christians as she is bound on a crucifix.

I can only assume these people have never seen a Cradle of Filth - Jesus is a Cunt t-shirt.
 
Apparently = was excitedly looking this morning and my hopes were crushed...
 
Just go to a drag show. It’ll be cheaper, more authentic, and more entertaining.

The e-ticket for Man City at the weekend was disappointing. It unfortunately worked and I had to watch us lose.

On the subject of gig tickets I've got a box of 1000s. It's a shame now you don't get the physical ticket most of the time.
 
Back in the early days of not keeping your tickets I went to the rugby world cup final in 1999. Supposed to just pass your ticket through the scanner like on the tube. Me and she who used to be obeyed got there early so were first in the Millenium Stadium pretty much. Worked perfectly and still have the intact tickets. The system broke ten minutes later and so the rest of the crowd had to have the stubs torn off old style.

Still got those tickets somewhere in the garage.
 
I'm already more familiar than most on here in regard to unpopular opinions but this one might be a new benchmark even for me.

Went to see Florence + The Machine last night, the woman is an absolute force of nature, incredible.

Outstanding voice, the music itself doesn't do it for me though.
 
I can't abide her voice - one of the few artists I have to actively avoid. Appalling.

I remember walking along the back of the Other Stage at Glastonbury one year as she absolutely butchered The Chain. I'd rather listen to Adrian Chiles narrating his autobiography on Audible than suffer that racket again.
 
Ah, everyone's got at least one artist like that.

I inadvertently saw Starsailor as support for someone in the early 2000s. Seething.
