The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2025/2026

Tudor gone (not sure why they've faffed about for a week)

Probably because of his father dying, optics and all that

Wonder if they'll press the Dyche button?

Just turned on the radio to hear a Spurs fan calling for 'Arry Redknapp, Tim Sherwood or Ryan Mason as 'they know the clab', 'love the clab'

No doubt due to his personal circumstances. Probably told days ago but press release done so he is in a slightly better place to deal with the media side of it.
Yeah, that's probably fair.

I genuinely don't know who will want to touch it. They're so reminiscent of us in 2012/13. Yeah you're not very good but equally there's no way you should even be close to relegation.

Jermaine Defoe the new Woking manager

Several Spurs fan groups protesting his possible appointment

I mean, his defence of Greenwood leaves a bad taste in the mouth (although managers usually back their players, see Arteta and Partey for instance), but Spurs groups are always protesting every potential manager that comes their way...no one is ever good enough for them, deluded cunts

My guess is they don’t want to put him under this much pressure immediately. I’d bet he ends up there sooner than later.
Yep. Football club considers long-term impact on individual and wider career development considerations. I bet it’s front of mind.

A report I heard yesterday was that he was considered, along with Dyche to take charge until the end of the season. As both are already employed/still being paid, neither were willing to give up their current contracts for 7 matches.
