They don't spend very much. They've sold Olise, Andersen, Eze, and now Guehi in recent windows - all the noises suggest they'll lose Mateta and Wharton in the near future too - and don't bring many players in to replace, so I get the frustrations. They won a cup, got into Europe and now Glasner is seeing that team be dismantled - wouldn't we also be frustrated if this happened at Wolves because they are going seriously backwards and their ambition is retreating. Palace should be aiming to win a European trophy this year but come next season it looks like they'll be (from the perspective of the Sky Six) back in their box as lower midtable fodder. Don't think it matters if he cost them millions in the summer over Guehi - would that money have gone back in the squad? He prioritised having a squad capable of challenging especially for the Europe Conference, fair play to him.
I'm not sure his moaning actually helps and comes across as a bit crass, considering the run of form they're on and losing to Macclesfield it might not be encouraging the squad... but I do get it and would probably feel the same if I supported them.
