Mark Yates sacked by Macclesfield, they're going straight back down regardless.

Leonardo Jardim sacked by Monaco.

They're in a right mess (they shouldn't be, but they are). Big job to take...

There's only so long you can go selling all of your top players and replacing them with promising youngsters with very little experience for big fees.

He did a great job in the main.

The Southampton model.

Signed Pele sold Moutinho little wonder their results suffered. Actually spent over 90 million on new talent after selling 360 million worth.

As others have said, it's what you get when you sell your quality. You can't go and replace a player like Joao with Pele, they're not even in the same universe.

I think Jardim's next job will be in the Prem. Perhaps United will bin off Mourinho and bring him in.

Small point but they weren't replacing João with Pele, they spent a lot of money on Youri Tielemens who took João's place in the squad.

Completely forgot about him in all honesty. He was a huge talent at Anderlecht but I've not heard much about him since his move.

Moved last summer didn't he? He certainly hasn't hit the expected heights, but still plenty of time.

Hamburg sack ANOTHER manager. Circus club. Every year.

Ipswich sack Paul Hirst. Paul Lambert to replace him

Mick played dull pragmatic football to keep them in midtable. The fans didn't like it, which I get, there's only so much of that you can take. They've had a couple of months off and now Lambert will do the same.

Mick would never have relegated them, it's crap to watch when he's got no money (except in direct comparison to 18 months of Hoddle of course) and you do want to move on from that but it was a daft thing to do on the club's part. If you're not offering any funding then no-one is going to do any better.

They didn't sack him though did they? Mick refused a contract extension IIRC.
