I think with Anderton for me it's a degree of Hoddle displacement. He's the epitome of that going through the motions, couldn't be arsed, taking the cheque culture that Hoddle cultivated, even players like Miller did that by the end.

Yes, Ricketts v Albion in the Cup and Halford v Blues were spineless performances and individually worse than anything Anderton did, but he still gets it for me for being the embodiment of the only time as a Wolves fan that I just stopped caring

Not a chance. Have to go their at least once a month. A fucking pain in the ass to get to, nothing to redeem it when you get there and no fucking motorway to get you the hell out of there quickly.

I used to have to travel through Peterborough a lot. Spent far too many hours at that terrible train station.

The one thing it has in its favour is a quick service to Kings Cross, although this isn't of much use if you aren't going to London.
