I think it's his defence mechanism every time he gets sacked. It's like the person evicted from a reality show that shouts "yes"
How did Pearson underachieve?
They almost broke the points record FFS! They were unstoppable the year they went up. And they survived. Pearson is no underachiever. He would be in a good job but unfortunately there is no cure for being a $#@!.
He could eat babies in the dugout for all I care, I'd love him at Wolves
Obviously dazzled them with his bright and bubbly personality.Kilmarnock apoint Lee Clark as new manager on a three and a half year deal. Why do these comedians keep getting jobs within football.

Thought he should have been promoted with Leicester a year earlier, should have walked the league even more the year they did go up, had a huge stretch in the Prem when they inexplicably were awful despite good form to kick things off and blazing form since then.
I've said as much before and I stand by it.

An excellent piece on Van Gaal.
An interesting read. Maybe LVG had gone past his best when Manchester United brought him in. Even the best of managers reach a point when they are no longer so successful, or able to influence things on the pitch.
