The Live Match Discussion Thread: 2019/2020

I go back to Everton’s 2nd goal against us was barely checked whereas that was checked by absolute millimetres. Look how Leicester have benefitted from the inconsistent use of VAR this season, Hand ball against us, that offside. But they were let off massively with the Tielemans tackle against Bournemouth, offside rule was invented to prevent an unfair advantage. Can someone explain how spurs were given a unfair advantage.

And now how does Gray not get a red for that challenge on Rose... Studs up, its miles worse than Bolys at City..
And theres Leicesters winner.... Bullshit all round,a 2cm offside fucking shoulder gives the other team a boost... Its shit

Sorry that utter bullshit offside decision has gifted Leicester the game there. Without that they’re never getting back into that game.
At least 4 points Leicester have been gifted by the most marginal of decisions this season, could have been more if the Tielemans red card had been given.
Now we’ll get smarmy arse Rogers telling us how good VAR is.

Problem is the technology can’t categorically say it was offside it’s not that advanced yet. The offside law is to prevent clear advantages to the attacking side.
It’s just the inconsistent use to offside is an exact science but oh let’s not overturn what should be a red card or what should be a penalty.
As said Leicester are 4+ points more than they should be due to very inconsistent use.
Also not once have we seen the stills of the thorough check of Everton’s 2nd goal against us.

Apparently I'm salty and bitter for pointing it out to Leicester fans I work with.

I'm not including the Tielemans decision because it wasn't given by the ref on pitch so wouldn't have been given last season either.

Just ask them the 3 big decisions they’ve benefited from would they be happy when it’s given against them, todays result is artificial.

Agree with all of that

3 down after 12 minutes. Double figures anyone?

This could be anything.

In the last 120 minutes between the two sides City are scraping ahead by 11-0

Tweeted the Premier League again to provide evidence that the same extreme high level of checks was applied for Everton’s 2nd goal.
Tweeted them twice before with no response, not going to give up tho.

You know the answer.

Watford play us next.

It’ll take me 5 minutes to knock up a letter or email to them when I’ve got a boring 10 minutes at work.
Not that we deserved anything out that game incidentally just want proof that the extreme high level is being applied across the board.

Listening to Garth Crooks on Final Score, spouting about VAR. What a tosser. Apparently VAR was introduced for the decisions that can't be seen by the naked eye!

I was under the impression that it was for the clear and obvious errors (ie Lampard v Germany). As far as I can see it is being used entirely wrongly, run by a bunch of idiots.
