West Ham gone into their shell second half now, Watford goal in the next 5 minutes and I’m sure they’ll get something out the game

Just feel West Ham have regained some control on this and the games just starting to fizzle out.

If that happens I wonder if Watford will try and sue the PL for the technology not working?
I think if they hadn't turned it on they'd have a case, but there's an element of beware what you wish for there as Sheff Utd would have 2 more and therefore be level on us with points. As it is they are claiming a freak set of circumstances prevented it from working I don't think you can stand that up in court

Well Watford fans were probably sat at home on Saturday thinking job almost done. Within 6 days they’re firmly in the shit especially with their 2 remaining games. I think their survival is totally reliant on Bournemouth and Villa not winning another game involving fixtures with Saints, Everton, Arsenal and West Ham respectively.
Whilst Bournemouth at home to saints on Sunday looks winnable I’d still have Saints as favourites especially away from home. Plus I think they’d enjoy helping to seal Bournemouth fate.
Villa v Arsenal at home on paper should be a Arsenal win but I wouldn’t trust Arsenal away from home ever.

Is Soucek the new Fellaini?

Nah, Soucek can actually play a little.

Of all the boring, "safe pair of hands" managers in England, Moyes might just be the least derisible.

They have their limits but I wouldn't go nearly so far as to say that they're shit. West Ham looked pretty well fucked earlier in the season and Palace are probably punching above their weight, given how few goalscorers they have. Pretty remarkable to have a team with Benteke/Ayew up front and the likes of Sakho at the back still in relative midtable safety, IMO.

Not a big fan of Moyes but think it is harsh to say Hodgson is shit. Palace looked royally fucked when he first came in and had their problems under de Boer, minor miracle that he very comfortably secured safety seeing as they had 0 points from their first 7. Rubbish side, not much to spend, but have never really been in danger of going down under him.

Previously did good work at Albion, turned Fulham from relegation contenders to midtable and gave them that European run. That plus his experience managing in Europe surely separates him from the usual British managers on the merry-go-round like Allardyce, Pardew, Pulis et al.

Hodgson has to be coming to the end now he's 73 next season. Palace fans seem to accept that they need this type of pragmatic manager with the squad they have but they're in very poor form and not happy at the moment with Hodgson , that's the problem with that style, when you're not getting results and you're dirt to watch patience doesn't last long.

Easy to make a case for all to end on 35 points.

Watford lose to City, point at Arsenal who could have nothing to play for or resting players for the Cup Final

Bournemouth 4 points against an uninterested Everton and a nothing to play for Southampton. Could even get 6, but they concede too many to predict that

Villa point against Arsenal who were humped by City a couple of days earlier and a win at a nothing to play for West Ham

Roy will forever be remembered for England 1-2 Iceland and going out in the group stage of 2014 WC. That Iceland game I put more blame on the players who completely froze and problem saw the back page headlines the moment we fell 2-1 behind.
I think Roy is good in jobs where expectations aren’t as high where defeats here and there are forgiven. Look at his jobs at Switzerland, Fulham, Albion and Palace got all of them into positions of PL stability and almost won Europa league with Fulham. At Liverpool, Inter and England they’re jobs that are very unforgiving, he was given the benefit of the doubt after 2014 as we were drawn in a group of death and had a limited squad.

Change in mentality is killing Brentford, gone from knowing they need to win every game to being cagey and happy with a point. Hopefully back to their usual selves in the second half

hoping for a norwich win, why is the fucker playing Drmic instead of Pukki?
