As a club Norwich don’t have deep pockets plus they found themselves in a bit of hole after the last relegation, their approach from a business view point has been probably wise and pragmatic this season.
They knew they had to invest a good chunck of money to give them a chance but risk still going back down nor was it wise to bring in a couple risky signings at a more of a bargain value.
They probably thought maybe the squad they had may over perform and survive just.
They’re in a secure position now from sporting view point not very exciting or inspiring but in the long run leaves them in a better position.
