Norwich say they're going to open the bidding at £20m for their players. Truth be told, I'm not sure which ones are worth more than that. I feel there is some potential in some players but I don't get the 'hype'

Norwich settled for relegation the second they were promoted. Farke has said it, Webber has said it. I hope they don't come back any time soon, that strategy doesn't deserve to be rewarded, even if I get it from a purely financial perspective

Didn't they have big debts so the PL money allowed them to wipe them out? Easy too be critical but even if they'd spent £50m and given it a go there's a high probability they'd have still gone down. They've taken a long term view which seems reasonable.

Yep. Not long ago it was the sale of Maddison that kept them going. Promotion wasn't on the agenda but they got it and took the option of getting the Prem £ for their long term health.

Don’t expect to see Norwich back any time soon, the squad they have is top half championship no better, some ex Norwich players actually giving them credit for that display just. I despise the attitude of “we didn’t lose that badly” or “that was a brace display” especially in a league game, cup games with teams miles apart in the pyramid fair enough.

If, and it's a BIG if, they bounce back they'll be in better shape and can potentially compete. That said whenever I've watched them their tactics seem very naive and I'm not sure better players would make a huge difference. Tonight with less than 20 minutes to go they had a free kick 10 yards into the Chelsea half and they played it back and started to build 15 yards inside their own half. Get it in the box you carrot crunching yokels!
