The Live Match Discussion Thread: 2019/2020

Southampton are a strange team under Hassenhutl. Really difficult to get past their press, they really make it hard for you to have time and space on the ball but if you get behind their midfield its a free-for-all. I guess they just need to sign some actual defenders. And hope they can hold onto the manager (I can see him at Spurs).

Fuck me. Martial is about as predictable as Robben yet he’s still just allowed him inside without even a drop of the shoulder or anything.

Walker-Peters may as well not be on the pitch for his contribution in trying to stop those goals.

Despite all the Keystone Cops defending from Southampton, United do look very good going forward and in great form. They are easily the 3rd best team in the league at the moment.

Their first 11 is good and they are in great form but I don't think they have too much depth beyond that.

I don't rate Solksjaer either so I'm pleased they will be sticking with him for the foreseeable future rather than getting themselves a proper decent manager.

VAR working to good effect again, definite red for Romeu.

Southampton looked really good initially but Utd are just so good in attack atm. Kudos to Saints, had nothing to play for since the restart but giving it a go in every game

So at what point does Ole start to get any credit at all for United's form? Seems a bit unfair to just relieve him of any responsibility for the turnaround.

Fuck off Le Tissier you bias knob head, it looks worse in slow he said it looks bad at any speed.

Yeah, he can have some credit for it but I still don't rate him as a person or a manager.

There was a thread doing the rounds on twitter earlier in the season that does not make him look like a very good person at all. Very interesting if someone can find it that involves all kinds of stuff including allegedly being involved in selling a player in Norway so he could get away from a rape allegation.

Yeah, I read that thread too. It didn't make him or his agent look good at all.

I'm not sure what the thread was but if you look up Solksjaer and Sarr you'll get some info.

Lee Mason is on VAR another official who’s highly inadequate along with Stuart Atwell, David Coote, Graham Scott and worse of all John Moss.
Not surprised with Le Tiss statement he accused the officials of blatant corruption in 2017 after the league final when Saints lost. He’s also got some odd views on events going on around the world to.
