Absolutely red, out of control, high, studs up.....what more does it need to be red

The whole point of VAR was for incidents like that. I think some refs don’t like reversing their colleagues call.

They really, really should be encouraging refs to look at the monitors for red card incidents. Especially as he obviously never saw it. Not even a foul given.

It’s laughable that VAR can’t even recommend if it’s a yellow card.

Yep the cook gets a yellow for a tackle not half as bad as that.

yeah, no consistency or logic really

haha, and now this..cant get a second yellow and doesnt get a red with that intentional elbow

Palace are such a weird team, capable of really good football but happy to just grind games in some cases.

Bournemouth got better but never really threatened

Hodgson is a great manager

If Boly’s against City last year was a red then so is that. Although Boly’s was more of a lunge so more “out of control”

For me I don’t think either are reds unless we are now going to ban the slide tackle.

David Brooks is about the only Bournemouth player I can stand. He's such a talent but seems a bit injury prone, shame there isn't any room for him here as I think he's a wide player rather than central.

If he could play centrally he'd be worth a try

I'm in a quandary. I want both Chelsea and Vlla to lose

Hoping both Villa get something and Newcastle beat Sheff utd.....don't give a fuck who goes down/stays up

At this point I'd rather Villa win. But if they don't then worst case scenario I can laugh at them.

Yep this. Vill have plenty of opportunities to shoot themselves in the foot anyway!

Dion Sanderson just went sprinting up the pitch with the ball, far quicker than I remember (or the Leeds players are slow), then had a bad touch and ran the ball out of play.

He’s been Defending well though.

I saw that, thought it was very Neil Collins (although quicker) definitely a centre half in the making than a full back. Good to see him getting game time though, even if it is in this Neanderthal Cardiff team.

Kalvin Phillips booked - I never really get the hype about him - he just strikes me as a Karl Henry clone

Not a fan at all, limited and just clogs his way through challenges.

Dreadful on the goal too.
