Not even a yellow for the challenge.

So when Lo Celso did get a yellow later in the game he still stayed on the pitch!

You've just got to laugh at this point.

Professional Game Match Officials Limited.

Not sure why a group of referees is a limited company though.

Not an error with VAR, but a human error apparently. Still can't see how you can separate one from the other if the latter continues to be incompetent.

Well that's just grand, when the system fails blame the individual operating the system rather than the root cause. Such bollocks, in this case the 2 can't be separated. PGMOL implement the system and decide which official operates it. PGMOL is the problem.

Hang on...

If an on-pitch referee misses a red card that is human error, and it can be overturned. So why the fucking fuck should "human error" by the VAR official be the end of the matter? That is a ridiculous double standard.

Once again the system is shown to be a total disaster because of the incompetent fools using it. PGMOL simply must be reformed and Riley has to be fired.

We can't keep agreeing like this, people will talk...

The thing is it is Coote's fault, it's not like the system failed to show adequate evidence for him to make the correct call in a timely manner.

Of course PGMOL should be hiring better officials than someone who looked deeply substandard in the Championship. I imagine Zenga is still raging about his performance at Villa Park just before he got sacked.

Confirmed no ban for Lo Celso as "the officials including VAR saw the incident".

Just ridiculous.

Confirmed no further action against Lo Celso.

The officials saw it and didn't do anything. They didn't see it though. Oliver's view was obscured and he didn't even think it's a foul. All except the VAR official who had the best view of course, who seemingly has the ultimate say these days, and despite them saying it's a red card on live TV...

Good work, Captain Logic.

In better news, Bournemouth getting a doing from VAR :icon_lol:

Bournmouth break away and equalize at Burnley... VAR chalks the goal off and awards a penalty to Burnley :icon_lol:

OOOOFFFFF

Bournemouth have just been absolutely shafted by VAR. I always said it was a magnificent system...

some random on the bbc feed said:
Football has become as popular as it is because of the raw emotion that it creates within us supporters. The pure joy of a winning goal to the despair when events transpire against our team. VAR kills the spirit, joy and romance of the game by robbing those moments from us fans. In the unachievable pursuit of perfection the powers that be have forgotten the essence of what football is all about......these are sad days for the sport I have come to love.

Veela throw everything for an equaliser at Southampton who break away and make it 2-0... Shame

Norwich as good as done, looking increasingly like two from four above that.

Bye bye Villa.

They need to fire Smith. He isn't up to this. Such a shame they gave him a five year extension!!
