Well I guess he ticks the aggressive box that Lopetegui says he wants

5m ain’t much in the grand scheme but he was weird at Southampton. Either very good or very bad.

There’s a bunch of players who’ve left Saints and gone on to look really quite tidy. Their recruitment seems to be really good, they’re just a bit shit at bringing out the best in players whilst they’re actually paying them. Odd club all round

Another nothing midfielder, tidy on the ball but doesn’t offer anywhere near what Bouba and Nunes do and he’s definitely not attack minded.

Interesting comment from Matt Hobbs to Cunha in the behind the scenes video that he was the big piece of the puzzle because it’s a statement to other players that the project is back.

Obviously he’s said it for a reason with the camera there but i think the wording is interesting.

Hopefully not in the same way Tomasz Frankowski was Glenn Hoddle's missing piece of the jigsaw.

Jens Dowe, the ultimate missing piece of the puzzle

I'm guessing Nunes is just a backup option, as Liverpool seem desperate to sign Bellingham.

Had a bid rejected for Craig Dawson, apparently.
I could have seen that as a sticking plaster right at the end of August. We can do much better though, he's been dreadful for West Ham this season.
