The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Fruit and nut bread does not sound at all appealing.

Indian food in general does little for me though, just ain't my bag.

For years I was plain naan only. Maybe garlic and coriander if being adventurous. Now though I have developed the taste for peshwari and could eat them breakfast lunch and dinner.

I like coconut, but not in me naan. Love Coconut Chicken Curry.

Nowhere near as hard as I find it is to get hold of them, man in tears!!

Can get most things that I used to miss from Blighty Pav. Not sure if you can read this , but this lots arriving next week :)

Fray Bentos :icon_lol:
Mr. Porky's :icon_lol:

Fair play on the wagon wheels though. Genuinely could not live without them.

You lot realise Keema naan is a naan bread with kebab meat in, right?

:icon_lol: What can I say, PPB loves her scratchings!!

I make my own scratchings. here they take the rind off all the pork and i have my butcher organised and he keeps all the breast rind to one side for me. To use a well worn phrase, boy do I pig out on this.

Of all of the things in Soozie's pic, i would kill for a regular supply of HP Sauce,!!!

I do love a Keema but Peshwari are just too good. Amritsari (sp?) are good as well but a little too stodgy.

Grilling some home grown tomatoes here. Have them with probably cumberlands, and some free range eggs. Debating whether to poach, or scramble.

Jolemai raises the second smile from me since February 2012 :)

Peschwari naan for me over keema too.

I much, much prefer a Paratha though. Thinner, crispier but still chewy in the middle and not overly filling like naan. You can get packs of them from the supermarket. A minute or two each side in the pan and they're done.

Peshwari naan is amazing. Love the sweetness. Keema nan I like also and used to have this but now I'm a peshwari guy. Keema naan is basically a meal!

A grated cheese, beetroot and salad cream sandwich.
