Great performance - a loss would have been undeserved.

Jonny was ace, Adama looks a real threat, and nice to get somewhere playing football, not parking the bus.

Very good performance, very few players struggled overall too.

Though we only had 29% possession, as Mick said after the game it didn't feel like that because we didn't park the bus. Our mid press was very effective at times, though with City's quality they were always going to hurt us at some point.

Thought Costa and Jota improving a lot was key for us, they caused City a lot of problems. Jota did my head in for the last 5 minutes giving the ball away mind you.

Hard to pick a motm, Jonny, Moutinho, Boly all brilliant. Patricio too. When they got 1v1 with Doherty he struggled but we protected him well mostly. Traore spent five minutes looking lost and nervous and then he gave them some real problems on the break, I was worried with that substitution but Nuno got that right.

We rode our luck a bit today at times but I think we deserved it and after last week, we were due a bit on our side.

Really good performance, a good point and a bit of a boost. Thought Costa looked good today which was nice to see. Watched most of the game on TV but had to revert to radio by the time Traore came on, he seemed to cause Mendy all kinds of trouble from what they said. Very encouraging indeed!

Very good performance overall, generally looked solid and caused some problems on the break. As with anything it wasn't perfect, a lot of opportunities to break were lost by poor decisions or sloppy use of the ball so you'd hope that improves and there were some mix ups defensively at times but then they're playing against the best side in the country so you're going to be up against it. On another day it could've been a different result, they hit the woodwork twice so that could've been a different story but then Jimenez really should've kept himself onside to score in the first half too and who knows how that one plays out.

Can't complain at that result or performance at all.

Willy Boly is a hero!

Any one else watching on Sky thought Joleon had forgotten his trousers?

Well, that will do wonders for our confidence.

We weren't fazed by one of the best Premier League sides ever and fully deserved the point. Boly was magnificent, Moutinho a gem of a player in midfield and our front three are going to cause teams all kinds of problems this season.

One of my concerns is us using zonal marking on set-pieces. We look extremely vulnerable defending them and, lo and behold, they score off one. Surely we should be looking to change this?

That said, I don't want that one gripè to override the fact that this was a superb performance and a result. We belong in this league.

Very pleased for Bennett, a zero bullshit player who I hope/ think will really grow into the PL with someone of Nuno's calibre coaching him further.

A really enjoyable game, a very encouraging performance and a fantastic point.

Massive slice of luck with the goal but I'll take that.

Excellent result - the midfield two were absolutely brilliant, the back three did really well, and Jonny was excellent too - and Ruis save from sterling’s effort was fantastic. I thought Adama looked superb when he came on, and his delivery was excellent.

Really happy with that result - city are a bloody good team.

Thought our performance was brilliant today. Got the tactics spot on, and gave Man City plenty to think about. Not really backs to the wall either. Tried to keep the ball well and look for space. A couple of sloppy touches in the final third will be a source of frustration, as will conceding so many freekicks in dangerous areas, but I think we should be delighted with the draw - Man City can't have any complaints.

Was the Raul goal definitely offside? Not seen any replays yet.

Best thing for me in that game? I could see what ‘the project’ is – sure the personnel is going to change, but you could see what Wolves are aiming to do not just this season but over the next 2, 3, 4 years. Jimenez, Moutinho, Jonny and Rui are all real upgrades on last year and we’re only going to go on getting stronger. Couldn’t give a monkey’s where we currently are in table as we’ll comfortably finish mid-table if not higher. Worst thing about the game? Some of the unnecessary negativity on the Forum.

Fair enough.

Also loving Matt's new role as wide target man :icon_lol:

Superb point. Boly was a mountain. Moutinho superb and also Jonny who played very well and stopped the cross into the box loads of times , impressed with him defensively.

Good performance from everyone IMO. No blame should be attached to anyone, just praise for giving the champions a test they will likely not get very often this season. Moutinho, Jonny, Boly and Patricio all superb. Improved performances from Jota and Costa, Raul works so hard he must be exhausted after every game. We were lucky our goal stood and rode our luck on a few other occasions, but we didn't deserve to lose and it evens out our bad luck from last week. Traore is going to scare the crap out of most defenders this year.

2 things that I thought: the free kick from which City equalised was never a free kick for me, and despite what the commentary team thought on my feed it was never a penalty when City appealed for a foul on Silva, he tripped over his own foot.

damn didn't realize it was an early game today and slept in. looks like it was an exciting game from the highlights though, glad to see we got a point out of it, which was unexpected
