The Goggle Box Thread

It's very well done. I will watch the old documentary again soon, not seen it for many years.

Just one thing though, the actor playing John really reminds me of Ian Huntley!

Just finished it, absolutely brilliant and what a guy he is. I remember the original documentary and the recent publicity when he shouted out at the recent awards but didn't know he had done all the things he has to raise awareness and help others with the condition

Nowhere near as good as the first series. Too many have adopted a “face” that has enabled them to avoid laughing. Jimmy Carr has become more annoying than usual by trying to convince viewers everything going on is incredibly funny when often it would generate a small smile at best.

I think that's harsh - some moments have been absolutely hilarious. Romesh's joker in particular was fantastic.

Still a really funny show that's had moments just as good as the first season.

I’ve just finished Last One Laughing. I agree it wasn’t quite as good as the fist series but there were still some outstanding moments. Bob nearly being undone by David’s stand up was one of the highlights.

Personally, I wouldn’t have made it past Diane’s joker.

The 3 I wanted to made it to the end. Hard to replicate the first series but was still good.

I find Mel so cringe. Enjoyed everyone else though.

I like to think I'd have turned that last bit into a full on food fight with so little time left :D

Saw a post with people saying who they'd like in next time - Coogan in character as Alan Partridge was mentioned. Kinda cheating but then he also has to not laugh himself...
