Ah, the early house were awesome. Very jealous. That said I watched them before our twins were born so it’s maybe due a rewatch.

Felt the first series of the night manager didn't quite live up to the hype.

Must admit I enjoyed both. It feels like series 1 was the building blocks and 2 was the crescendo, although I haven't finished series 2 yet.

Both very good, but marginally preferred season 1 personally - though I only watched ot last summer so my wait hasn't been that long. Wish they'd make more dramas like that these days.

From the creators of The Detectorists, I watched the first episode of Small Prophets last night on BBC2. It was wonderful. Funny, gentle poignant. Can't wait to watch the rest. Michael Palin's father character brought so many emotions back about my own father suffering from dementia.

Yeah enjoyed the first episode, setting the seen. Its very 'Detectorists' and thats a good thing. Some top class comedy actors.

In other news, I'm REALLY enjoying A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms - far lighter than Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon but with some fantastic characters, full of charm and dynamic between the cast. It's great.
