The Goggle Box Thread

I have only heard good things about The Wire, which is more than enough to make me try it out.

As for The Pacific - 7 episodes down, 3 to go. It's fantastic. Not BoB standard, but that's not a criticism of The Pacific which is still harrowing, gripping and bloody interesting in it's own right.
The Wire is the greatest programme of all time.
Breathtakingly brilliant on so many levels.

You're like my wife - she'd remember a 14 year old conversation as well

They all do... Be careful what you say as it can and will be used against you many years later 😂

I'll do the joke...

If only Jeff Shi also did

Started watching The IT Crowd yesterday. Richard Ayoade's voice is incredibly familiar, but can't think where from. It's almost Harry Enfield "You don't wanna do that", but not quite. Has he been in other things, or is there someone else with the same voice?

Four years later.
It was Garth Marenghi's Dark Place

Very late to the party but we've watched the whole of Line Of Duty from Series 1 over the past 3 weeks or so and finished the last episode of series 6 last night. There is a 7th series coming out next year. Have really enjoyed it with the twists and turns and impressed the way the same underlying storylines and characters had recurred throughout even when it seemed we had moved on. Some big names in it too though bizarre that James Nesbitt only appeared as a photograph!

A photo of James Nesbitt is way too much exposure for me 😉...

Good to know there's a new series coming. I always thought the ending waa bit meh and lent itself to a further series.
