Enjoyed Sherlock this evening very much, not sure as whether they actually gave an explanation as to how he faked his death though.
It seems unlikely that he would have given the real explanation to Anderson whom he has shown no respect for in any of the previous episodes. Watson would have been the only person whom Sherlock would have likely had the respect for to tell the real explanation but he was clearly not interested.
Agree with you re ep. 2, but I thought ep. 1 was bollocks. Edit: Because the writers tried to be far too clever.
