I've never understood the love-in for this. I probably don't buy into it because of James Corden...Gavin and Stacey. Crap.
It's the nature of 'art' isn't it, some will like it some will hate it. It's like a lot of music fans will think Wham were crap, others will think they were great, fun, pop music.I've never understood the love-in for this. I probably don't buy into it because of James Corden...
Think that's a fair point. Corden probably bought into the hype following the success of G & S and turned into a twat, his writing is still pretty good though. Watched the History Boys a few weeks ago and he was OK in that early in his career. Not a fan of Corden at all but love G&S.
Maybe Ruth Jones just beats all the cuntiness out of him when they work together.
It was very much a tribute to past episodes really.Don't mind G and S generally but the Christmas one was poor. Badly written and pretty much no comedy at all.
I disagree completely, as I said it's all relative.Don't mind G and S generally but the Christmas one was poor. Badly written and pretty much no comedy at all.
I really liked it, and don’t know many others that have watched it. Even made a visit to Richmond on the back of it!Very late to the party here, but binged Ted Lasso over the last week and it's really good / much better than I expected.
It's brilliant.I really liked it, and don’t know many others that have watched it.
I thought the fishing trip was done perfectly.Watched the Christmas Gavin and Stacey, enjoyed it, tied up the loose ends that needed doing, the girl that played Sonia is no doubt going to get grief for playing a right nasty cow ( great writing for her part though)
And the fishing trip, well….
Watch the documentary on the show...especially the very endI thought the fishing trip was done perfectly.
