The Goggle Box Thread

Just got to the end of series 2 of Race across the World. What a finish! Brilliant series.

Last Kingdom: Seven kings must die. (Possibly) the concluding feature length episode of the LK series. Enjoyable stuff for LK followers.

I've been watching Veep again over the last week or so, fucking hell I'd forgotten how good it is. One of the best comedies to come out of America

Colin From Accounts on iPlayer. Really good, easy watching comedy.

Appreciate the lack of spoilers! Collecting the series off my dad saturday, and will be watching series 2 and 3 across the next 2 weeks.

Citadel on Prime is really good. Shame it’s a weekly release as the first two episodes felt like they lasted five minutes. Looking forward to the rest of it.

Just finished watching the latest adaptation of Great Expectations, excellent!, ain’t sure old Charlie Dickens would have approved though.
Steven knight ay it.

Found Richard Bransons interview by Amol Rajan very interesting, fascinating character.

Another good finish to Race Across the World. Not the best series in terms of the actual travelling as the lack of language barriers made it easier to move across Canada but the scenery was magnificent. I'm guessing that Covid restrictions meant that doing it all in the one country, albeit a massive one, was the reason behind going to Canada.

A celebrity version follows later in the year and whilst I will probably watch it, I don't understand why they do this when it is so enjoyable with just ordinary members of the public in it.

Completely agree with everything you've said, haven't watched the last episode yet as Wednesday is my night down the the pub with my mates, I think I know who won though as I saw a trailer for a programme last week with one of the pairs.
Celebrity versions of shows I like always irritate me but like you I'll probably have a look.

I’m definitely intrigued to see it. As a pilot no Elton writing and no Tony Robinson as Baldrick but I would be fascinated.

I would also love a set of the stamps even though I obviously can’t use them over here!

Serbia gon be getting fewer points than Frank Lampard. State of it
