Likewise I'm not a massive Gervais fan but have enjoyed afterlife, struggling bit with this series, still got to finish it.

Yes, I did enjoy the mandalorian. I saved up both series, and watched one episode each evening in a vain attempt to keep on top of the storyline.

got a bit thrown by the start of series 3 of afterlife. where did sandy go and why? still excellent tho.

Reacher drops tomorrow on Amazon Prime. Alan Richtson (sp?) does indeed look the part. Really looking forward to binge watching it over the weekend.

Looking forward to this. The actor does look a bit more believable than Tiny Tom.

Finished Ozarks last night, bloody hell the second half of the season is going to be immense!

Also finished afterlife, I struggled a bit with this series as there was less humour in it, which just left Gervais character acting like a twat, although the final episode was quite poignant.

Binged 3 episodes myself last night. It is very good, just a bit disappointed when he get`s in the car that he doesn`t "rack the seat right back" as in the books. Silly joke.

Ran out of steam I thought and went weird in Ep 5 and 6. Fizzled out similarly to the last thing I saw him in - The Fall.

Agree, episode 5 spoilt it for me, and the ending of 6 was crap.

I wouldn't want her teaching my kids maths, nothing to do with her gender preferences, she came across like a petulant teenager, slouching about, surly expression, avoiding eye contact.

Don't know what to watch tonight, new season of Ozark, All of us Are Dead or The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window. Found the latter two today and they both look brilliant and have great reviews. Doesn't really matter I suppose, I'll watch them all anyway one after the other.

Really enjoyed "How to sell drugs online (fast)" loosely based on a true story, quite funny, a bit different and easy watching.

Inventing Anna.

Been waiting for this to come out for ages, as it's a really interesting story about a Russian girl who pretended to be a wealthy heiress who defrauded banks, investors and hotels in NYC.
You may know the story of Anna Delvey as it is fascinating but the Netflix shows has butchered it IMO.
It felt like a light-hearted Sex In the City type of portrayal of an interesting story. They seemed to gloss over the importance aspects of the character, why she did it and the consequences.
Also, Julia Garners accent was awful and dimishes the quality of her acting.
