National League is ridiculous..

York top on 107 points
Rochdale second on 105 points.

Last game of the season today:

Rochdale v York

Winner takes it all.

Imagine finishing on 105-107 points and missing out on automatic promotion.

Similar with Wrexham/Notts County a few years back. At least Notts won the play offs that year.

The league is basically full time so might as well just be L3 with the same Promotion/Relegation rules.

Yep and whoever goes up I’d put good money on them staying up or more, a lot of national league clubs are in a far better state than those in league 2.
I’m right in thinking no one has ever got promoted from the national league and gone straight back down?

Since they got rid of re-election, yes

And Carlisle in third could finish on 95 points too
