I really have an issue with that being racist, as I do with English or Welsh clubs singing things at each other. Personally I think it waters down the impact of real racism. It's abusive, xenophobic, it's not racist imo
I'll very delicately put my toes in the water on that one and agree as I don't see how belonging to a nationality, nation or province in the twenty first century means you have a connected racial identity. By the way, I have lived in eight countries in four different continents. You can imagine some of the experiences. IMHO.

Glad you've got the whip back, Di x

The BBC are reporting that they are assessing their options as if there’s a raft of interested parties willing to pay off £600m(?) of debt before financing the club going forward. More likely that there’s vultures circling willing to let it fall into admin before getting it for a fraction of the liabilities.

I thought one of the Palace owners was looking to buy them after dumping his shares?

Issue being he hasn't got rid of them and won't be able to very quickly

Unless they find a buyer rapid style then it’ll admin and 9 points chopped off with no appeal, every saleable asset sold so Pickford DCL, Branthwaite, McNeil probably all gone.

£200m (at least) to 777/A-Cap
£158m to MSP Sports Capital
£225m to Rights and Media Funding
£450m to Moshiri (unsecured loans)

Still need £100m or so to finish the new ground and cover the move

Still need to cover the money that the club loses hand over fist week by week

As you say nobody is taking that debt on. Administration seems inevitable as too is relegation as once they’ve sold their saleable assets there’s no way they’re making up a 9 point deduction.

RMF have the right to take control of the club, they have had for a while as debts have missed deadlines, and they still don't want to do it.

It's a money sink that needs a complete reset. Fortunately for them the ground is probably too far along now to become an English Nou Mestalla.

Netflix just pushed this to me:

Had no idea he was even dead.

It's an interesting programme, I won't spoil it but he had some life in the last few years

Apparently Kevin Campbell is seriously ill in hospital with a kidney issue. Hopefully he pulls through
