Usual nonsense with Young Player of the Year. Not quite as bad as Sterling winning it in 2019 when he'd already played at two World Cups and a Euros but still ridiculous.

Foden
Haaland
Isak
Mainoo
Palmer
Saka
Saliba
Udogie

That'll be Saliba who Arsenal paid £27m for five years ago, then. And Haaland who is 24 in a couple of months. And Isak who is 25 in September.

Palmer should take it, never even scored a PL goal before this season, that's a fair mention.

As much as I love that gambit, I honestly didn't :D

I find it hard to judge Mainoo with Walter Shite's inexplicable "no midfield" tactics.

Palmer must hate us after handing Haaland 4. Would be top still (I assume with the extra assists) without those.

They've also somehow got Iraola on the list for Manager of the Season.

Yep the concept is manager of the season ie how have you done from day 1 couldn’t buy a win until October and coming 10th after a healthy budget isn’t a wow. Done a good job but nowhere near manager of the year.

Someone suggested on talkshite Dyche should be considered and is in the top 6 of managers in the league (they didn’t fucking win for 14 matches!!!)

Far bigger issues to worry about currently and fighting the PL for 1 meaningless point back is waste of time and money.

One less point than GON, likely more by tea time tomorrow

I've read a couple of articles stating that Everton are looking at those who have already loaned them money to take over the club instead of 777. The problem is that they could have already done so when loans weren't repaid and obviously didn't want to inherit the mess that its in. Are they waiting in the hope that it goes into admin as they hold the rights to the new and old stadiums so their debt is reasonably secure if it does go bump?

No buyer in their right mind is going to come in and take on that debt when they don't have to.
