I think they are just trying to avoid empty seats... I like the idea personally. Selling the individual ticket back to ensure a seat is occupied helps the people who can't get tickets on general sale.

We have fans who have home STHs, hardly ever attend and sell the ticket back to the club most weeks, but use it to go to away games.

Can't say I'm keen on that.

Ahh ok, hadn’t looked at it like that. That makes perfect sense.

New policy from Brentford. If you're a STH and fail to attend 4+ home games from next season, you can't renew.
I think this may also be aimed at ticket touts who are buying season tickets and reselling them to away fans for big games.

This definitely used to happen with Wimbledon season tickets when they played at Selhurst Park. Circa £90 a season IIRC and six or seven London clubs in the vicinity plus the big NW clubs made them very viable.

Brentford definitely end up with a lot of fans from various clubs in the home ends. I was in the home end for our 1-1 draw and was surrounded by them. But I doubt they have loads of Brentford fans struggling to get a ticket

Andy Jacobs is a Chelsea fan but has a Brentford ST

Hartlepool and Sutton both got fined for not controlling their players after a brawl in their recent game. Fine, no complaints there, you know the rules.

However, the brawl was set off by this challenge, which the ref missed. And no word on his punishment.

I suppose he didn't have a very good view of it.

Pickford signing a new deal is interesting. Hefty release clause? Or confident they'll stay up?

Covering their asset in case of relegation. Stay up and he'll be happy where he is, go down and they get good money for him

Pictures of the Toon Army in Trafalgar Square are pretty fantastic.

Sure Newcastle fans do have an air of entitlement about them. And the ownership stinks something rotten. But I have a lot of friends who are fans and who have travelled down for the game so for them I hope they win. Just like they had the same hope for me when I travelled to see us play at Wembley in the game that shall not be mentioned.

Plus Man Utd fans are the most arrogant, wanker fanbase out there so there is that too.

I hope Newcastle win because the opposition is Manchester United. Don't think they will but can but hope

I'll raise you a Terry Christian and Mick Hucknall!

Newcastle have got no chance especially taking into account their form and being without 2 of their better players.
