The Government are trailing fans at a few selected Super League games, limited to 1000. Not sure if that will be going ahead given all the talk of lock down though.

They already had a limited number of 5k in the Catalan vs Wigan game, but not many English made the trip.

They were doing similar at a fair few Football League matches over the weekend too.

They can’t do it at Wolves as the ground is in an area where restrictions apply as of tomorrow so no chance a home game will be selected for a pilot while those restrictions exist.

Didn’t Middlesbrough have fans at the weekend?

I should think all the chemical smog in Middlesbrough has killed coronavirus stone dead

Jose not happy with Spurs fixtures and calling their schedule insane with them playing tomorrow, Thursday and Sunday

In unrelated news

"Tottenham's Carabao Cup game against Leyton Orient will almost definitely be postponed after the League Two side confirmed an outbreak of Covid-19 amongst members of their first-team squad."

Did they just send Aurier round?

Spurs will get a bye to the next round then if the EFL stick to the rules

I now have to have a test...

On what grounds?

Rules are if a team can't fulfill a fixture they forfeit the game even if Covid related
Already been teams booted out of the Europa for that reason and the EFL Cup falls under the same rules.

Ok, thanks. Seems harsh, but Spurs' schedule is crippling already

Also next round of cup is next week!

Two West Ham players and David Moyes test positive for covid must put our fixture in a bit of doubt on sunday

Urgh, they’ll be better off without him.

This will be a really bit test. Cancel a PL game, or let a game happen without a manager?

Colin wasn't allowed to attend the Boro game over the weekend after testing positive so what's the difference?
