John Terry paid for the funeral of an eight year old Chelsea fan who he had met. It is always nice to hear about the good things that footballers do. Well done John Terry.

I might not be a fan of him, but credit where its due - thats a very nice gesture from him.

Today's original line up for Sheffield Wednesday contained 6 loan players (allowed 5) until a fan spotted it on twitter!
Shouldn't they still get in trouble for that?

No, they didn't field the team. Personally I think loans in the team should be reduced to 3 at the most.

Thought there was some stipulation about the team sheet submitted to the FL. Fine with me tho as I have a soft spot for the Humpday Club.

PFA Player of the Season Shortlists

Player of the Season - Dimitri Payet, Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy, Mesut Ozil, N'Golo Kante, Riyad Mahrez

Young Player of the Season - Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Jack Butland, Philippe Coutinho, Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley

Payet and Alli for me.

Always annoys me how the cut off point for Young Player hasn't been updated in 50 years, Lukaku is 23 next month and has been playing regular Premier League football for four seasons now.

I hope one of the Leicester lads wins it and it doesn't become a '99 Ginola type situation with their vote being spread across the 3. Personally I'd choose Mahrez. Alli for Young Player

Karim Benzema will not be included in France's Euro '16 squad.

If either of Mahrez or Vardy don't win it, it'll be a travesty

Vardy - 21 goals, 6 assists
Mahrez - 16 goals, 11 assists

While Vardy and Mahrez do a lot of the eye-catching, headline-grabbing stuff up front, Kante has done an awesome job in a role most people don't find as exciting. He may not be scoring or assisting, but his contribution is not to be sniffed at. I do hope one of them wins it, but won't be complaining whichever of those three it is - they've all been great.
