It's all a bit pointless anyway as it wouldn't trick anyone! Watching him say it live on TV seemed a bit silly (but that was more 'you'd go snap one of your team mates?' Sort of thing.) But opposition fans getting there knickers in a twist on Twitter is nothing new.

Phil Neville acting the hard man, like anyone could take that seriously?!

I didn't understand his point at the time. Playing a pass like that isn't needless showboating, it's a pretty effective way of fooling defenders a lot of the time.

I disagree. A disguised reverse pass does, but the stupid glance of the head the other way basically after you've kicked it does nothing IMO. If he just played the pass the outcome would have been the same as he wasn't looking at him anyway. I.e a disguised reverse pass. Flicking his head as he does it just makes people like Neville want to snap him.

Being snapped by Phil Neville would be like being savaged by a dead sheep.

His brother on the other hand....

Bradford have a decent chance from that draw

Poyet's comments after Saturday's game were a disgrace. Saying the fans didn't understand his boring football because they only wanted Niall Quinn and Kevin Phillips style stuff back. No Gus, I just think they find playing ultra defensive stuff based around possession near the halfway line dull and your results prove it to be dull. He really is a piece of work.

Who chooses the players they buy at Sunderland? Seen a lot where Gus is moaning that the quality of players he has is poor

Fair to assume he chose Buckley, Bridcutt, Defoe. Rodwell on the face of it was a good signing but he hasn't produced. Did Gus choose to give Connor Wickham a £60k a week new deal? Shocking if he did.

Tough on Middlesbrough. After winning at Manchester City they now have to go to Arsenal.

Bolton v Liverpool replay to be shown live on BBC

BT Sport will have one as well. I presume they will go with Man Utd v Cambridge.
