All that is all very well for amateurs, but these are very well paid professionals.

If I'd dropped two major bollocks in a week i'd either be on a final warning or out of work.

The whole system, appeals, reviews etc is so rank amateurish, arrogant and 'we know better'. Almost an upper class attitude of superiority.

It stinks.

Spot on

It's total bullshit and utterly ridiculous. I have no idea why they need to be 'protected'. Yes a referee is required for a game but they don't make it.

Nigel Pearson fined £10,000 for verbally abusing a fan. He must also serve a one game touchline ban.

There's a certain irony about making someone sit with the fans as punishment for abusing one of them. Besides which he normally sits in the stand anyway

A sad day for Hereford, but the club will return in another form.
I would have thought it's a good day for the fans as they can now rebuild the club. I would imagine they would have mourned Hereford United's passing a long time ago.

Has the fan been banned and fined for abusing Pearson?
It really pisses me of when fans stand there shouting obscenities at players/managers but then cry to the FA when they get some back.
Yes I know, in his position, Pearson should handle it better but it is bound to boil over at some stage

Perhaps he's fucked off and died as per the managers request

Yeah, I thought that. If he's ever on the touchline then it's for the last 20 minutes or whatever, he definitely starts all the games sitting in the stand.

Doesn't he sit in the stands for the first half, and then come down to the touchline for the second half?

No, he prefers to sit in there for most of the game, comes down if it's not going well, which this year is most games

It's very sad to hear about Hereford United, but the fans finally have their club back. They need to set the ball rolling with regards to a new Hereford United very quickly. Under the guidance of those who truly care about it, Hereford United can rise again.

More managers should watch from the stands. You cant really see the teams movement from pitch level.
Perhaps his punishment should have been to sit on the bench for a match.

Does the fan get to be manager that game and Pearson gets to abuse him?

SK Brann's new kits are... interesting. They're literally giant condoms!

I just can't imagine that a rubber-latex shirt will actually be comfortable. They're supposed to be "weatherproof" but what does that do if you're sweating up a swamp underneath all that protection?

Gross. What image have I wrought?
