Go 1-0 up and distract the opposition by having helicopters land on the roof for the rest of the game.

Feel sorry for Ray though. He gets broken whenever the ball goes out.

Did anyone see Stylian Petrov on Russell Howard just now?
Finishes his treatment at the end of Jan and is currently playing over 35s Sunday League. Seems to be really enjoying it.

I'd be in favour of suspending Mike Jones in a glass sided cabin over Molineux. Tell Ikeme to aim for him with his goal kicks.

Bolton forward Max Clayton is out for the season after surgery to repair cruciate ligament damage.

Mike Jones is back in the Premier league this weekend. He will referee the game between Tottenham and Burnley.

Unbefuckinglievable

Laughably unaccountable

He has been left off the list for two weeks, one week in the championship, and one week as fourth official. That is about the normal procedure if an elite referee has a few problems.

Electric chair? An hour in the company of Nigel Farage? Being surgically attached to Adrian Chiles' face?

That's the normal process for him following the PL game he made a mess of.
No real response (it appears) for the mare he had of our game v Bournemouth though.

I understand your frustration, but how do you think such situations should be dealt with?

My massive annoyance is with the idea that a poor performance should equal refereeing at a lower level. Why? Jones was sent down to the championship and was beyond awful. A disgraceful performance. He should have been taking time off rather than officiating a game that was still hugely important.

But the only way to eradicate any problems is out on the pitch, so the normal procedure is to drop a referee down a league or two. Though as has happened to others, Mike Jones could be removed from the elite list if there is no improvement.

Trouble is that if he is removed from the elite list, but continues then he merely inflicts himself further down the league pyramid.

These games are as important to the Clubs (if not the press) as any in the Premier league

All that is all very well for amateurs, but these are very well paid professionals.

If I'd dropped two major bollocks in a week i'd either be on a final warning or out of work.

The whole system, appeals, reviews etc is so rank amateurish, arrogant and 'we know better'. Almost an upper class attitude of superiority.

It stinks.
