Our 'league national team' is playing the United Arab Emirates (are they still called that?) today.The 15 year old I've been going on about is getting his debut (15 years 253 days old).Youngest ever to debut for Norway.

He's been left out of our squad against England (friendly) and Italy (ECQ).

I have just heard that. I must admit to being a little surprised. I thought Platini had said he would challenge Blatter.

Decent point on the BBC website yesterday, the UEFA gig is probably more interesting than being FIFA president. You still have a big tournament every four years and you have the Champions League to preside over every year. Less of an ego trip but more involved (and less paying lip service to developing the game where the standard is currently dreadful).
