Because you play on Thursdays so are always doing Sunday games. That is the big hate.

I never minded the Sunday games when I was a season ticket holder, nice way to fill an otherwise relentlessly boring day, always much easier to find something alternative to do on a Saturday.

Yes, but I don't view football as a leisure activity or 'something to fill the day'. I do crosswords to fill the day and bless the compilers at The Guardian for their work, but I don't really have any emotional investment in it.

Thursday is a pain, but the clubs don't hate it for a fans perspective. The hatred is purely from 'too many games and lots of traveling' which I have already pointed out is a load of bollocks.

So it's just the tradition of the Saturday 3 o'clock kick off that you'd miss rather than any conflict with a routine?

Sundays are a ballache on numerous counts. If you don't drive to games then public transport is always fucked up in some way on a Sunday. From a competitive viewpoint you are forever playing catch up on everyone else which must have an impact on the squad's mentality. Also there's no empirical way to prove it but the atmosphere is never as good on a Sunday for whatever reason.

The transport thing I can see an issue with, we always drove to games though so that's why it was never an issue for us, think Sundays actually worked out better as the roads/town were quieter and you got free parking too!

I can see why others don't like Sunday games but for me they generally worked out better.

I'd love more Sunday games, it would mean i could get to more and would probably be enough for me to get a season ticket. Transport isn't that bad either to and from Darlaston as the 79 runs every half an hour. I can see for others why it would be a problem but much like everything else involved with the Europa League English teams find something to moan about and a problem with it. I'd love finishing in the top 7 of Premier League every season and win the Europa league every couple of years like Sevilla do in Spain.

More ESPN tomfoolery:

45. Daley Blind
44. Willian
43. Gilfy Sigurdsson
42. Samir Nasri
41. James Milner

Get your overpriced and past it players here:

"Queens Park Rangers have released Richard Dunne, Rio Ferdinand, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Joey Barton and Bobby Zamora"

SWP - £70k a week ('Arry I don't do wages knows he earns that much)
Rio - £100K?
Dunne - £60k?
Josie - Got to be at least £50k

Going to Everton, then?

Across the river to Tranmere is his level after his performances over the last year

Benitez on his way to Real? He will make Ronaldo a great defender...

From that I'm assuming Karl Henry will be offered a new deal, his contract is also up this summer.

He has a year's option and it's up to him whether he takes it or not (he will).
